Leander's first master-planned roofs are a decade old now
Travisso's first roofs went on in 2014 across 2,118 acres off FM 1431, and the earliest of them are old enough to deserve a real inspection. Taylor Morrison bought the site, once called Crystal Falls West, from The Lookout Group in spring 2013 and planned between 2,100 and 3,173 single-family homesites on the hillside.
That's the Leander pattern in one neighborhood. The city ranked 18th among the fastest-growing in the U.S. in Census estimates comparing July 2024 with July 2023. Bryson, the 530-acre master-planned community that was Johnson Development's first in the Austin area, is part of the same wave of new rooftops.
