Helotes roofers for the edge of the Hill Country
Weather rolling out of the Hill Country reaches Helotes before it gets anywhere else in Bexar County. The town sits at 1,037 feet in the valley of Helotes Creek, right where the creek leaves the hills, with State Highway 16 running through on its way to Bandera, 30 miles northwest. On April 12, 2016, hail up to 4.5 inches fell on Helotes during what was then the costliest hailstorm in Texas history.
Texas-RRR is a veteran-owned roofing company out of San Antonio, and Helotes is squarely inside our territory. Eight full crew teams. Registered and insured.
Helotes has been a city since October 1981 and counted 9,030 residents in 2020. Its center of gravity is still the old town. John T. Floore Country Store opened in 1946, Floore paid for the first Cornyval festival in the 1960s to mark a new post office, and work on Old Town Helotes wrapped up in 2011, giving the city a revitalized downtown.
