Two Pleasantons, two roof plans

Pleasanton grew 19.2 percent between 2010 and 2020, from 8,934 residents to 10,648, and the census counted 4,314 housing units in the city. That growth split the town in two. South Pleasanton holds 1970s and 1980s ranch-style homes on city lots, some in Atascosa River flood zones. North of town, newer subdivisions along the US 281 corridor date from 2010 forward. Any roofing company in Pleasanton, TX that quotes both the same way isn't looking closely.

Texas-RRR is based in San Antonio and serves Pleasanton with 8 full crew teams.

Older ranch homes and new slabs

On a forty-year-old ranch house, we're usually chasing worn flashing, tired decking and patched leaks, and Pleasanton roof repair often buys years before a full tear-off. Some of those owners move to metal roofing for the long haul. The newer homes are a different story. Lennar's Pleasanton Meadows masterplan at 105 Cowboy Ridge, near Highways 97 and 281, lists 12 plans from 1,200 to 2,173 square feet, and builder roofs like those tend to need storm checks and small fixes in their first decade.

Shops, churches and storefronts along 281 get our commercial roofing crew, which handles flat and sloped commercial roofs.

The 10 percent permit rule

One rule catches people out. The city requires a building permit for a total roof replacement and for any repair covering more than 10 percent of the roof area, handled by Community Development Services at 108 Second Street. As a roofing company in Pleasanton, TX, we measure the damaged area, tell you which side of that line you're on, and pull the permit when it applies.

Founded in 1858 where the Atascosa River meets Bonita Creek, Pleasanton is still the county's biggest city. For the ranches, Jourdanton, Poteet and the rest, see our Atascosa County roofing page.
